Accessibility Statement
SudokuVault is committed to making our website and app accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.
What We Do
- Keyboard navigation: Every interactive element on this site can be reached and operated with a keyboard. Skip navigation links are provided on every page.
- Screen reader support: We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and proper heading hierarchy so screen readers can parse our content correctly.
- Color contrast: All text meets the WCAG AA contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. We target AAA (7:1) where possible.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus rings appear on all interactive elements when using keyboard navigation.
- Reduced motion:Animations are disabled when the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting is turned on.
- Text scaling: The site works with browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Touch targets: All buttons and links have a minimum touch target size of 44x44 pixels for easy tapping on mobile devices.
- Alt text: All meaningful images have descriptive alt text. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Known Limitations
The interactive Sudoku grid on the homepage is a visual decoration and does not function as a playable puzzle. It is marked with appropriate ARIA roles. Our printable PDFs use visual grid layouts that may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We recommend the mobile app for an accessible digital solving experience.

Standards
This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We test with keyboard navigation, screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA), and automated accessibility scanning tools.
